We had the pleasure of spending a night at the Royal Tulip, Desa Visesa Ubud. Visesa has to be one of the most beautiful places Jase and I have stayed. Spread over 6.5 hectares of beautiful land, it is the perfect sanctuary for some time out from the hustle and bustle of Bali.

We were welcomed with a balinese blessing, delicious ginger drink and then taken through to their restaurant for lunch. The service and food at Visesa were incredible. The team in the restaurant looked after us with three wonderful meals during our stay. The most unforgettable was our in villa barbecue dinner. The images speak for themselves, the food was magnificent and it’s safe to say we felt very spoilt!

Our room was beautiful, overlooking a rice field in a quiet part of Ubud. We loved spending the afternoon relaxing poolside in the privacy of our own villa.

Visesa offer so many great activities, including bicycle rides and treks through their immense grounds, cooking classes and yoga.

If you get the chance, please do spend a night (or five) at Royal Tulip, Desa Visesa Ubud.
